About me
Digital Artist and Event Designer
based in Montreal, QC.

My name is Charlotte Cottin, and I was born in 2000 in Lyon, France, the city known as the "City of Lights." I currently live in Montreal, where I continue to create. My creative journey began in my teenage years through classical dance, photography, and video editing. Sensing that my professional path would lead me toward digital arts, I decided to study digital creation from 2018 to 2021, splitting my time between Lyon and Quebec. I then continued my studies in Montreal, earning two graduate degrees: one in Arts, Creation, and Technologies from the University of Montreal, and the other in Event Design from UQÀM.
Today, I work as a project manager at Bain Mathieu, a versatile event venue in Montreal, while also developing my artistic projects on the side.
Today, as a designer and digital artist, I specialize in creating immersive digital environments for artistic, cultural, and corporate projects. My expertise lies in using projection techniques (mapping) on various surfaces and digital creation to transform spaces and events into unique experiences, tailored to the specific needs of each client. With a solid mastery of digital creation tools and a meticulous technical approach, I am able to craft bespoke atmospheres that meet the precise requirements of each project.

My artistic approach increasingly involves exploring "microfluid art," a discipline that blends art and science. This allows me to create images and videos by simply manipulating materials at a microscopic scale. The idea of combining analog and digital techniques, merging simple pigments with advanced technology, offers a completely unique experience. Capturing the real world at this scale enables me to create dreamlike and unprecedented universes, born from simple observations of the world around us.
